The Law Offices of W. Dan Mahoney, P.C. is excited to announce its annual scholarship for students who plan to attend school in the fall of 2025 as either a pre-law undergraduate or first-year law student. The $1,000 scholarship aims to assist with expenses for students accepted into a school anywhere in the United States.
Eligibility Criteria:
- U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States
- Acceptance and plans to attend school as a pre-law undergraduate or entering law school in fall 2024
- Academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA
Requirements:
Applicants must submit the following by February 15th, 2025:
- Completed resume
- One to three-page typed essay on a topic of the student’s choice related to their intended area of law
- Complete copy of school transcripts
- Acceptance letter from a U.S. school
- Proof of legal residency in the U.S. (e.g., birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card)
Award Details:
- The scholarship is exclusively for tuition and related expenses.
- A $1,000 check will be made payable directly to the recipient to cover these expenses.
- Receipts must be submitted in accordance with IRS regulations.
- Recipients will be notified by February 28, 2025.
